Hi,
Very recently, Thursday my lcd panel on my case has stopped working.
I investigated a bit, even manually installed latest lcdproc which is not in the repos yet to no go.
Whenever I try something like
perl -e 'print pack "H*", "80000000091e0088"' >| /dev/lcd1
which used to work, now it justs sits there forever...
I'm using 2.6.37.2 x64, everything up to date from testing.
I tried with and without lirc /lirc-utils but same.
It dead locks right away, no need for any other program to be loaded it seems.
Any idea?

I don't know what I did but now it does not hang when I restart lcdd, but still nothing on screen.
Also perl always hang on lcd1 but never on lcd0, not sure which one is which one anymore.
