2 soundcards on my laptop. Wich one to use?

I'm confused about this since the first time I installed Arch on my laptop (HP 425), but only now that bought a HDMI cable and having troubles with sound output I'm concerned about this.

Also, alsaconf shows the 2 of them in the options:

Everything works flawlessly with the first one ("Azalia") as sound device, but since I really really want HDMI sound output I'm asking about this.

Thanks in advance!.-

Your question is unclear. You say you really want HDMI sound output but you ask which you should use?

I'm sorry. The thing is: the HDMI thing bring to notice the fact that my laptop has 2 sound cards (detected at least), something which I don't comprehend, because that was never meant in the specs of it.
