Recently i got problems with applications using OpenGL functions, especially games.
While searching for the cause , i found that the recent ati-dri driver now uses the gallium driver for R600 instead of the mesa classic driver.
I have reverted to ati-dri-7.10-1 and libgl-7.10-1 , and everything works now flawless.
While i knew in the future the gallium driver wouild becoem the default, mesa 7.10 brought a lot of improvements for the classic R600 driver.
the state of the R600 gallium driver feels like the classic driver was 2 years ago ...
Does anyone know if there is a way to include both the classic and the gallium driver in 1 pacakage so the user can choose which one to use ?
Note : glxinfo (in pacakge mesa-demos) will tell you if you use gallium

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?

After checking the mesa pkgbuild, i came to the conclusion that mesa doesn't support building gallium and classic in drivers in one package.
I have made a feature request for a separate package with the r600 classic driver.
