What Happened to my Thermal Zones? [SOLVED]

A couple of weeks ago an update broke my cpu temperature monitor on xmobar.

Now I check and there is no /proc/acpi/thermal_zones directory, and I can find nowhere where temperatures are being recorded.
Is there a package I need to install, or is my hardware no longer supported? I'm not sure what package is at fault, though I suspect either the kernel or acpi.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing people are going to want to know is what packages you updated last.  The second thing is more information about your specific hardware.

You can try {hwmon temp 1} instead of {acpitemp}.

Ah, so the /proc location is being deprecated in favor of /sys/class. Indeed the files are located there. It's annoying because most software besides acpi don't know this. Maybe I'll add some kludges.
