[SOLVED] Failing to boot on Macbook Pro

I'm trying to install arch on a MacBookPro7,1. I have installed refit and have partitioned my hard drive to add three additional fat32 partitions for home, root and swap.
When booting off the arch cd, the menu to boot the 64 bit arch installer comes up. Then it says comreset failed errno=-16 and boots into initramfs and prevents me from starting the actual installation.

Any help with my situation would be much appreciated

Did you try the latest archboot?

I used the latest arch core installation media. I'm unable to find the archboot installation isos

I think you've having something very similar to what is happening to me. I've also tried archboot that doesn't work...anyone has some idea?

I used the latest arch core installation media. I'm unable to find the archboot installation isos

Here are the lastest archboot isos. Hope this will work for you.

I was able to get into the installation using the latest archboot isos. Don't know what the problem was though. Thanks for all the help
