Hi all,
I cannot start gnome-mplayer anymore (system up to date) since about a week, I guess it came after an upgrade.
See terminal error:
[sweetth@myhost ~]$ gnome-mplayer
gnome-mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libnotify.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryI tried searching the forum or web without success, any idea?
Regards,

pacman -Q gnome-mplayer

I think I had the same problem some days ago. Creating the following symlink fixed this issue for me:
/usr/lib/libnotify.so.1 -> /usr/lib/libnotify.so

NEVER EVER DO THAT.

Well, interesting...
I had gnome-mplayer and gnome-mplayer-svn installed... So they was a conflict, removing the svn version fix it..
But I do not remember installing the svn version at all?! very weird oO
Anyway think for your help,

just remember, all packages installed from AUR needs manually rebuild. doing symlinks is just plain stupid.
Rebuilding is the _only_ solution

But that's the weird thing, I never installed it using the aur!? I only use the aur for banshee-git....
