Hello fellow Archers -
I've been given a headless box with no OS currently installed that only has wireless available.
I'd like to install Arch on it.
I'm thinkin that to do this I'll need to to boot a LiveCD that will recognise the wireless card, connect to the network, and start sshd so that I can log in remotely via ssh and start a local installation.
Does anyone know whether such a LiveCD already exists/is possible?
Or is there a better way to do this (that doesn't involve plugging a monitor in or connecting via ethernet!)?

Oh, please, plugin a monitor would be much faster don't you think?
As far as I know, there's no such Live CD exist.

It would be quicker, but the only Monitor I have is an HP 3065 and the on-board video card on the headless box won't run it...

You're on your own then.
I can't find a way to install an OS blindfolded.
If you really do want to have such live CD, you will have to make it yourself which really isn't an option.
Why don't you try borrowing a monitor from some where

I happened to stumble upon this today. It's a description for FreeBSD, but
maybe you can still make something out of it.

Oh yes, Live CD isn't available but USB is certainly possible (if you can at least make it boot from USB that is). (Wonder why I didn't remember this before )
Try reading this:

You probably should install archlinux to your USB, make it automatically connect to wireless, start ssh daemon.
Then you might want to install archlinux to your hard drive:

It's gonna be really annoying I tell you. I still consider borrowing a monitor a better choice.
