Kernel panic (network driver)
I installed Arch64 on my computer about a week ago and have experienced kernel panics since then...
I already ran memtest without errors.
How do I activate kernel.log? My /var/log/kernel.log is an empty file.
I took screenshots instead...

The freeze is always related to "kworker".
I posted this in another thread already (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=88626) because I thought the kernel panic was related to the graphics card.
But falconindy pointed out there was a problem with the network driver. I'm using a TP-Link Wireless USB Stick:
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 148f:2573 Ralink Technology, Corp. RT2501/RT2573 Wireless Adapter
Any ideas how this could be fixed?

Had also kernel panics on my thinkpad x41t probably caused by ethernet controller since kernel 2.6.37.
Upgrading to kernel 2.6.38 and madwifi from testing repository solved the problem.

I am facing similar issue. Get a Kernel Panic every 5-10 mins, nothing in the logs. The tainted flags are G and D similar to the pics above.
I am using a MacBook Pro 2,1 with ATI X1600 Mobility graphics card.
So far, disabling KMS seems to have resolved the panics, but then disabling KMS causes other issues while suspend-resume etc.
I will probably try upgrading to 2.6.38 from testing to see if this resolves the issue or perhaps downgrading to the previous kernel26 version.

had the panic today again several times after rebooting with the 2.6.38.2-1 from core. after about 20-30 sec on tty the panic occured.
i could prevent it by doing "ifconfig eth0 down". annoying

hello. i think it may be because of bad power supply or bad values of power in electricity cables.
