Printer

I recently attached my Printer to my computer and sometimes Arch detects it, whereas others it doesn't, and on times it does detect it, it doesn't print anyway, I do have my username in the lp group to use printers, but still no success, I didn't see anybody else having this same problem, so maybe it could just be my printer, or printer cable, thanks !!

Re: Printer

Yes, it may be the cord, or your printer cable, or a water vain. : /

How can anybody tell you what may go wrong with your printer if you've never said which make it is? What can you read in your log files? Have you installed any CUPS updates recently? Etc...

Hmm, didn't think that mattered..  And yes, cups is installed..  It's a Epson Stylus CX7400.   Turns out, it's out of ink.  LOL, I have Win on my other hard drive, I also checked it on there, took me a long time to figure out that's what the problem was..
