GPT Primary and Backup partition table? -> Use gdisk (extra/gptfdisk package)

The utility gdisk can back it up for you.

Please google before posting questions, in this case the second result gives step by step directions.

apparently, I was looking for a different solution, more in the direction of using dd

and don't tell me what I have to do - I am allergic in THAT direction! OK?
