KDE global menu

What is te difference between the Xbar kde applet and the plasma-menu-bar applet ( https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40316 )?
Both of them provide global menu for kde, but I don't know which one to choose. Does somebody tried them and can share some experience?
Thank you!

Re: KDE global menu

Xbar is limited to certain KDE styles (Bespin and QtCurve) and it's for KDE apps only.

plasma-menu-bar can be used with any KDE style and with the assistance of appmenu-gtk, you can have the gtk2+ (gnome mostly) apps' menu appear on the plasma-menu-bar plasmoid.
