Re: Compiling psmouse module

Yes my ALPS (maybe ALPS2) tocuhpad is recognized as PS/2 Generic Mouse. I tried some of the configuration for 10-synaptics.conf but then I had no keyboard and no touchpad.
I found this topic http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get- … e6510.html the guy have Latitude E6410 which is better then my E5410 but as far as I know they were released at the same time.

Re: Compiling psmouse module

The problem is that cat /proc/bus/input/devices shows PS/2 Generic Mouse and no touchpad.

Re: Compiling psmouse module

Apply the patch to the kernel and recompile.  The easiest way is using 'abs' with slight modifications to the PKGBUILD.
