I have deluge setup and working, daemon runs, web-ui connects and so does deluge-gtk.
Web-ui asks for password each time I restart firefox as normal, and automatically connects to daemon as it should.
However, every time I start deluge-gtk it asks me to turn off classic mode yes/no, followed by the connection manager. I hit "Connect automatically to this daemon" and "Don't show this startup dialog again" each time, but soon as I exit and run deluge-gtk again same thing. It doesn't remember.
I have the /etc/conf.d/deluged running as user "bobby" (my regular user).
My deluge settings are in /home/bobby/.config/deluge, and for the auth file I did this:
echo "bobby:mypass" >> ~/.config/deluge/auth
The auth file looks like this:
localclient:2d284470ce5ea0377c957a4efc9b2657eb1bec75
bobby:mypass
Again deluge runs great, I'd just like to not have to go through the start-up dialog and classic mode yes/no every time I run it Thanks for any help!!
