Wireless randomly disconnects

Shortly after installing my new wireless-b/g/n card (TP-Link TL-WN861N, AR9223 chipset) I've been experiencing random disconnects after being online for awhile, and the annoying thing is I can't reconnect unless I reboot the machine. As a fairly seasoned Linux user, I've tried unloading/reloading the ath9k driver and whatnot but to no avail. I should mention that I had to flashed to the latest BIOS, modified to exclude the WWAN whitelist, but I doubt that's the problem. Are there any issues with the ath9k driver or this particular device/chipset?
