Hello,
I tried out Gnome3 last night and since then i have been unable to connect to wireless networks. The NM-applet displays different wireless networks, but when i click on them, nothing happens. I have already tried fixing the permission problems described here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … n_problems . Does anyone have an idea what could be going on? (I can post logs and configs upon request)
EDIT: I have the same problem in Gnome 2, Gnome 3, and XFCE

Can you connect manually?
I laugh, yet the joke is on me

most cause is because you either didn't merged pacnew (check /etc/pam.d) or you don't use exec ck-launch-session gnome-session in ~/.xinitrc or you use slim over gdm (slim is broken but there are workaround in the wiki)
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

how would i check about the merged pacnew? i do use exec ck-launch-session gnome-session in my .xinitrc. i am using slim, but i am not sure if it is running over gdm. where is the workaround in the wiki? is it for the gnome keyring?
