I'm trying to figure out how to disable the display identifier (the red, numbered badges that are assigned to multi-monitor systems). Whenever I play games and the screen's resolution changes, the display identifier pops up and persists during the game. I cannot get rid of it without opening AMCCC and forcing it to autohide in the Display Manager section.
This seems to be a Catalyst issue, though perhaps it has something to do with Xorg. I'm using an external LCD as my primary and *only* monitor as I have disabled my laptop's internal LCD. Has anyone encountered this issue before?
**Edit** The issue is gone. The labels have mysteriously disappeared on their own.
