Slanted windows in Gnome 3

Hello, I have a problem. After upgrading to Gnome 3, several applications are distorted with the windows, as you can see by the screenshot.
Use Xorg 1.9 + Catalyst 11.3 (HD3200).

This would have something to do with Gnome or something that I did not notice?

Re: Slanted windows in Gnome 3

Catalyst isn't officially supported, so i guess this topic will be closed.

I guess the best place for catalyst is "Bar & Grill" forum, but since you are alredy here...

Well i'm surprised because this well known (italic) bug should be gone... it was fixed around catalyst 10.6, but oh well...

There is nothing we can actually do - it all depends on catalyst developers. And thats all.
GNOME 3 is fresh, both nvidia and catalyst aren't working well with it - we need to wait for better support.
Plus as i can see support depend also on gfx model you got - on some models you are able to work with G3, on others - not at all.

Right now i'm using catalyst-test package with xserver 1.10 - and it's working better for me (still not perfect at all) than catalyst 10.3 - but it's not general rule.

If you like GNOME 3 and got radeon card the best way now is to switch to open drivers.

Re: Slanted windows in Gnome 3

Right ... I thought it was independent drivers.
I will test with open source and report any news.
