fsck hanging

I had a power outage this morning and one of my machines seems to have taken it rather badly, and two of its partitions are refusing to fsck back into proper order. One causes fsck to hang immediately, and the other causes it to hang after I try to tell it to fix the first error found in the Checking inodes, blocks, and sizes pass. I've run badblocks -nvs on the first, and am currently running it on the second, but it doesn't seem to be finding anything. Are there any suggestions as to other things I can try to get my drives back in order?
