Need some help setting up Starcraft 2

First off I have read the wiki, https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Starcraft2 ,

My problem is that when I run

 wine Installer.exe 

I get the following error in a popup window :

"Sorry, the installer was unable to start up. You may be out of hard drive space."

I have 24.6GB of free space in /home.
Also I tried running the install with a new .wine folder in combination with

WINEPREFIX=/media/second_partition

.
Where I have around 100GB free space. And I still get the same error

Does anyone know what the problem could be ?
Please help if you can...

You're not sudoing or anything right? Also, you should start wine programs with 'wine start'

No sudo.

And I get the same error with "wine start Installer.exe".

Seems this is a common issue also with WoW, but I couldn't get any clear solutions from my google searches other than is most likely has nothing to do w/ wine, because all the folks who run into this problem were using Windows e.g. http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/2267602124
