T510, 2.6.38 extermal VGA regression

Hi,

On my Lenovo T510 and an external VGA monitor connected, I can successfully use both the internal LCD (1600x900) and the external VGA LCD at 1680x1050. If I switch to any 2.6.38 version, this config fails. The laptop LCD remains blank and the external monitor flickers (and is mostly blank).

If I lower the resolution of the external monitor to 1280x1024 for example, the setup works. I haven't had the time to compile different kernel versions to find out where it broke, will hopefully be able to do that in a few days.

Has anyone else seen this?
