Upgrading kernel without networking

Hi, I've bought an Acer Aspire One, but networking card requires kernel 2.6.37, this means that main release won't have network support.

I've seen those "releng" isos, but I wanted to know if they can be "downgraded" to main release.

I want an stable system with latest kernel. Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance

I have no internet in my house, and to update my system and install software, I follow this guide

There is no such thing, Arch is rolling release. After a -Syu, you will get the exact same versions of everything regardless of the image used to install. There are also unoffical archboot isos that may have newer kernels.
