How to install custom X.org server

My video card driver isn't supported for X.org server 1.10 according to news on arch linux site. I tried to use nouveau but it didn't work well. So i wanted to install xorg 1.9 or xorg 1.8, how to handle it? I've fresh installed arch linux recently.
