Starting HDAPSD Fail

Hi,
I struggle to enable APS on my ThinkPad T500, but hdapsd daemon doesn't seem to start. Here's what i've done: I installed hdapsd and tp_smapi-builder to build kernel module for my kernel -pf - it automatically executed "/etc/rc.d/tp_smapi setup" thus created -pf kernel modules. Than I've added "thinkpad_ec" and "tp_smapi" to modules array and hdapsd in daemons array in rc.conf. Next, these lines were necessary to insert into modprobe.conf:
options thinkpad_ec force_io=1
options hdaps invert=1
according to the http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Tp_smapi# … fic_status
I've uncommented "FILES="/etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf" line in mkinticpio.conf and ran sudo mkinitcpio -p kernel26-pf.
After restart hdapsd fails to start and my plasma-hdaps-monitor-plasmoid is inactive.
All packges are up-to-date, what needs to be done please? Thanks.

Re: Starting HDAPSD Fail

Ok, I had to help myself. I've found out that package "tp_smapi-builder" doesn't work - even though I don't have a stock distribution kernel, I have to instal the default package "tp_smapi". It's weird, I thought that every kernel needs modules built specifically against the kernel. Someone really could tell me and save me few days.
