[Solved] Samsung ML-2015 strange behaviour

Hello!

I have got Samsung ML-2015 and installed it by this wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samsung_ML-2010R
Also, have tried .ppd from splix package form [community] and from samsung-unified-drivers.

It works, but sometimes... it doesn't. I mean for the first time when I send document (.pdf in okular, .txt in kwrite, website in ff4) it works perfectly. But the second document printer sometimes (not always) doesn't print (but the job in a list became COMPLETE) - a green led on it stops flickering like data stops sending to printer. And sometimes it prints the second, third an so on docs, bit skips first page (and in this case sometimes it prints skipped first page in the very end). Sometimes it prints all docs fine.

I'm using arch64, everything is up to date, cups, foomatic-filters with all deps...

Any suggestions?

Re: [Solved] Samsung ML-2015 strange behaviour

I don't think those instructions were that good.  I just finished setting up my own Samsung ML-2010.  I used Splix and didn't have to download the ppd, it was already available in the web interface (and worked fine).  One thing I did have to do is use cups-usblp from AUR instead of the regular cups.  This was mentioned in the Cups wiki (here).

I laugh, yet the joke is on me

Haven't noticed about cups-usblp. Looks like It works fine now. Thank you!
