Is there any chance of getting polls back on the forum? I dont remember why they were removed, just that Simo was the one who did it.

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

Maybe you can link to an external poll-tool? Some of them feature embeddable images that show the results, so you can paste that into your thread.

The real reason i suspect is that polls generate TGN like 'should arch use package signing?" 'do you use a floating windowmanager?'. They don't contribute anything.
