Hi everyone,
I have a tricky problem at hand is that everytime I upgraded to mkinitcpio-0.6.10 and a new kernel (say the recent 2.6.38),
it always occurs an kernel panic error during boot with a paculiar error message: "Unexpected ')' character at line XX".
And nonetheless, downgrading to mkinitcpio-0.6.8 fixes this issue.
But, the problem doesn't seem to occur at my other computer, which already has 0.6.10 and working fine.
Does this mean there are some special hardware on my laptop that are causing this issue ? or simply an errornous installation,
perhaps corrupted files (though I highly doubt this).
All I can do now is avoiding upgrading mkinitcpio to use the new kernel. Hope there's a solution for this before mkinitcpio-0.6.8 falls out of core repo.

thanks skodabenz, so this is a bug to be fixed in 0.6.11 then.
