Upgraded to testing and multilib-testing to get Gnome 3. I can connect to WPA or unsecured networks without any problems. Clicking on a wpa-eap network does not bring up the expected dialog to allow me to configure a connection to the network. Tried looking in some of the error and everything log files in /var/log but did not see anything interesting. Could I get some pointers on getting some error logs or debugging this problem?

Same problem here. Clicking on network (with wpa-eap, other works fine) in nm-applet does nothing.

Anyone filed a bug already , under Gnome or NetworkManager ? i have the same problems with the eduroam network in our university...

I had to go into
/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections
and remove the automatic connection to an open wireless connection that I did not want to be able to connect to my network of choice. Now I am able to connect to the wpa-eap network.

I could connect to our eduroam (WPA Enterprise tunneled TLS with PAP) network by starting the nm-connection-editor from shell and configuring the netwokrs name(ssid) login credentials ect manually, also i deleted all other presaved wlan connections at our university site so it would only connect to eduroam.
at first from standby it wouldnt connect (but i just think its due to the overlad of the network today) i connected to another then again back to eduroam and it worked.... (because of overload of the network i got somem dissconnects but then it showed me the good old one login credentials dialog for wpa enterprise like in the old gnome 2 and klicking connect just worked fine)
PS: there is another way to start nm-connection-editor its somewhat complicated but it also works: be connected to an wlan then go to the wlan settings dialog and klick options buttons , then after the window with the current connected wlan infos click once again on the same options buttons of the main window in the back and oh wonder nm-connection-editor appears , dunno if this is a bug or so somewhat strange....

Just tested after an update the other day to NetworkManager, wpa-eap now works, tested with Eduroam

My solution is to turn on the power management for the adapter
Finally, it turned out that was just a coincidence, the real problem hasn't been solved...
