[Xorg] Problem with startx

Hi there,

I just installed Xorg, and while trying the command startx I get this:

(EE) RADEON(0) : Chipset: "AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series" (ChipID = 0x6719) requires KMS
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

I cannot find any solution on the Internet.

The drivers I installed are xf86-video-ati.

Does it mean that my CG is not yet supported?

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RadeonDriver

The Ubuntu page says your card wont be supported by the open source driver until kernel 2.6.39.  You will either have to use the newest kernel from testing or else the catalyst driver from AUR.

Edit:  sorry, 2.6.39 isn't in testing yet.
