SOLVED: updated today and now dualhead wallpaper no longer spans

Running Arch with wmii on a dual-head setup.  Up until the update I just ran, the wallpaper (setup using 'feh' in the wmiirc) would span both heads as one large image.

After todays update, each head has a full copy of the wallpaper rather than being split between the two.  It's really annoying and I'd really like to get this fixed.

I imagine it is related to X or the nvidia driver as they both updated.

Any help would be much appreciated.

turns out 'feh' updated too.  solved this by simply replacing feh with nitrogen.  ran nitrogen for initial assignment and then just replaced the 'feh' call in wmiirc with 'nitrogen --resume &'
