Hi,
I'm using intel drivers but X tries to load vesa module. Is this normal?
[yasar@yasar_laptop ~]$ grep EE /var/log/Xorg.0.log

[ 21.215] (EE) Failed to load module "fbdev" (module does not exist, 0)
[yasar@yasar_laptop ~]$ lspci | grep -i display

[yasar@yasar_laptop ~]$ pacman -Q xf86-video-intel

Yo Dawg, I heard you likes patches, so I have created a patch for your patch, so you can patch your patches before you patch.

Yes, completely normal. Vesa and fbdev are fallbacks. Install one of those, and if the intel driver can't load for some reason, you'll still get X. An unaccelerated, possibly low-res X, but still.

Ohh, I just realized something. My slim.log file keeps spamming:
Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: paylaşımlı nesne dosyası açılamıyor: Böyle bir dosya ya da dizin yok
"paylaşımlı nesne dosyası açılamıyor: Böyle bir dosya ya da dizin yok" ==> "Shared object cannot be opened. No such file or directory"
This might have happened after power shortage. My computer started acting weird since. What might be causing this?

Flashplayer.

Umm, so should I be worried? Or do something about it?

No, you should not be worried. Flash tries to open vdpau to use it for hardware video decoding on nvidia cards. Failing to load it, flash will simply decode video in software.

Relax man, no and no. You are going to get some warnings when certain apps don't find optdepends, stressing over them is pointless.
Well, it's an error, so OP does the right thing and tries to understand what's going on.
