[SOLVED] keyboard input problem

i thought my keyboard failed but it's sometthing in Arch/Gnome?  Typing login pw works fine, but once i get the desktop up i hhave to hold each key for 2sec or so for it to register.  started after crash this morning. did pacman -Syu sunday and again after this started today.  left laptop off for an hour, no help.  booted win7, kybd works fine.

ideas?

Solved.  Gnome Keyboard settings under System-Preference-Keyboard, Accessibility Tab, "Only Accept Long Key Presses" somehow got checked.  My guess is something happened when my system locked up.
