random system panic caused by wireless card

hey guys. I am now suffering a big headache.
My laptop is dell studio 1458, the wireless card is BCM43224
i installed the system with the archboot iso, and everything works fine for me. But there is one thing always annoying me.
At the beginning ,  I installed openbox and wicd. But the kernel will be in panic from time to time . Later, I uninstalled openbox, and started using kde  with networkmanager, but still  I am suffering kernel panic from time to time.
the log is as follows:
x respawning too fast
802.ee.**** something related to wifi
system cant sync
kernel panic , please switch to text console.

Can any guy tell me how to get rid of that kind of random panic?
Btw, I find under that circumstance, the keyboard is out of control. How can I switch back to text console?

Thx!

Re: random system panic caused by wireless card

See if you can access any virtual console by pressing ctrl+alt+f{2..6}. If you can login to a virtual console, then check your network connectivity with ping for example.

You can also try to use wpa_supplicant instead of GUI network managers, it is way too better.
