packages cant find dependencies

so i finally dl the arch 560MB iso and boot it up make my partition table then try to install the base plus firefox, xmms, xorg and enlightenment but when it goes to install it just comes up with error then something about pacman cant find a autoconf dependency "mawk" i think, so i thought hmm ok miss that package out but insted it complains again but this time about perl any help would be great

did you make sure to hit "done" after setting up your hard drive? IIRC some people didn't hit "done" and it never does anything - so no partitions are mounted and pacman can't install packages... so it just fails over and over...
