Very nice. This is indeed a good looking replacement for Gnome. Please share some information about your setup: WM theme? Gtk theme? Font?

Thanks!

Thanks.

The GTK & Emerald theme is Zuki

Font is Droid Sans smile

Stupid movie, don't lose your time.

haha so I have been told... is it really that bad?!

I thought it was okay. I didn't find the story line to have as much depth as the other movies of 2010. I do concede that it was a highly overrated film that my non-coder friends put on a pedestal...

The geek in me really appreciated the references to emacs, wget, php, and apache in the movie, though...not to mention the kde 3 desktop used.  How often do you hear/see such things in a Hollywood movie?

Re: May 2011 Screenshots

I have UZBL open in the other tab, and a default XFCE picture/gradient setup for a wallpaper, and recently fell in love with Tmux.  Theme:  rezlooks-elementary Openbox/GTK, and gnome-dark icon set.  QTFM is butchering the elegance of the GTK theme, however.

XFCE + Openbox is truly a winning combination.

Re: May 2011 Screenshots

Heres Mine

tOG85bw

Distribution: Arch Linux 64-Bit (Duh!)
Desktop Environment:: Openbox3
GTK+ Theme: Atlom-gtk3 (Damn there not being a decent GTK3 theme that actually goes well with my wallpaper and looks nice, people need to stop making clones of the default one and just freaking port existing ones over :rantover)
Wallpaper:Yukari Yakumo (She's my favorite character)
Note: Please dont ask me to dig up the link to the wallpaper, I cant remember where I got it from.

Systray:
-DeaBeeF
-KWallet
-Pidgin (With KWallet Plugin)
-Cairo-Compmgr (I used an icon from faenza to replace the ugly bug icon, and made the disabled one a monochrome version of the one you see)
-Blueman (Bluetooth Applet)
-NM-Applet
-Volume Icon (cant remember the exact name)
-Screenlets (Actuall screenlets not visable in the screenshot)
-Xfce4 Power Manager (Becasue Gnome Power Manager is crap!)

Top Panel: Tint2
Completely transparent with only transparent white for active icons background, idealy I would have liked to make the non-active icons monochrome grey, and the active ones fully colored if anyone knows how to do this, please inform me!)

Conky (Left):
Cant post config yet since it takes too much room for the post, essentially it's a modified version of the default crunchbang conky config, it includes the following

-System Info (Hostname, Kernel, Uptime, RAM Use, Swap Use, Disk Usage (" / ", "/home", " /tmp"), CPU Usage (Dual Core), Battery Meter.
-Top 4 Processes
-Shortcut Keys (Spot the references if you can)
-Weather (ConkyForecast)

If youre wondering what the last command does on that keyboard shortcut lists, it runs xkill.

ConkyDeadBeeF (Bottom Left):
I kinda like having my album art, etc being visable on my desktop. Here's whats currently playing
Music Playing: Necrofantasia (Orchestrated Remix),
Arranger: Yuki (Last name unknown)
Album: Touhou Gensoukai -Youyoumu Mo Oto,
Band Name/Album Artist: Kitsune Workshop
Heres a Link to a video of this Music on Youtube if you want to listen to it!

Both conky configs use either the Nu or Cure artwiz fonts, I cant honestly remember which one they use right now

As you can probably guess, I ******* love Touhou. Strangely I've only played the main/shmup/bullet-hell/omgwegonnadie! games a little bit, I mostly play the fan ones, and romhacks such as Touhoumon (GBA Romhack of Firered), I usually get my butt handed to me when I do play the shmup games. There's nothing wrong with all that though. I'm allowed to like Touhou without playing the main games.

Oh btw do not panic if you see a similar screenshot on the GBATemp forums, I'm a member there, under the same username, I also posted said screenshot. I just figured I'd switch up my wallpaper a bit for these forums.

You can change the icon saturation, so you must use -100 to get grey icons and 100 to get full color ones.

I like the Hassan-i Sabbah, the old-man of the mountains, motto on your wallpaper.

Nothing is true, everything is permitted.
