Terminal shows nothing, nor can I type in it (solved)

Hi I meet this very strange problem after installing Arch Linux.

In terminals I cannot see anything nor can I type in anything.

Please see the screenshot below:

How can I fix this?

Do you have the same problem if you attempt to log into a TTY.  Try typing Ctrl-Alt-F2 to switch to tty2.  Can you log in?  After log in, do you receive a shell prompt?

No. I now am using a TTY to install all the applications I need because it is now a new system.

I mean there is no problem in TTY. Everything works fine there.

I am not sure if it is also a related issue:

KDESU now doesn't work either.

When I try to run something as root in Krunner, I type in "kdesu XXX" but a warning pops up:
The program 'su' could not be found.
Ensure your PATH is set correctly.

I have solved this problem by adding the line of devpts to /etc/fstab.
Thank you all for your help and attention!
