FiST: File System Translator ... with cryptfs, gzipfs ...

have a look at

using gzipfs would be great on saving space on a harddisk that has a lot of text-files --- a colleague told me that it works great on her linux ... now i want to build a archlinux package, but have a question about law and cryptography:

in "fist" there are also other parts that use cryptography, and i heard that there are contries that do not allow importing or exporting ... as i dont know much about these things, i prefer prior to do something wrong to ask if making a package for arch of fist is legal or not

on the internet i got a lot of confusing information ... can someone give me a summary what is allowed and what not?

Almost all other countries except US allow exporting of crypto code. AFAIK AL's base is Canada, where crypto exporting is allowed (openbsd's base is in Canada too ).
If crypto exporting is not allowed in your country you can just upload only the PKGBUILDs in incoming.
