Hi, All my qt apps (vlc clementine) look really ugly. They are not following the system theme. How can I fix it ?

Common sense can not be compiled.

If by system theme you are referring to the gtk theme, then yes, of course qt won't be using the same theme because, well, it's qt. Try googling for a qt version of your gnome 3 theme. It won't look exactly the same, but that's an age old problem arising from a long long time ago.
However, if you have already set an equivalent theme for qt and it's not showing up then yes, it's a bug.

@jeslinmx In my experience this has never been a problem, thus far. In all the distributions I used qt apps looked exactly as gtk ones.
thanks Butcher qtconfig did it.

It should be related to the new version of the gtk. I think the version of qt isn't yet able to emulate the gtk3 themes while the normal gtk2 themes are fine.

@Diaz I don't think that's the case. Its just that the default for qt isn't set to gtk in qtconfig. Changing that makes qt apps emulate gtk themes.

Be sure to check in VLC interface settings that the "native style" is set.
Also try switching qtconfig to "Desktop Settings (Default)". I've never had any problem with QT applications in Gnome and that's the option my qtconfig was already set to [I've never touched it]
