Hi all,
Not exactly a newbie, but first time installing Arch in a while, and I've, as usual, been able to produce an annoying problem-loop.
I've installed dwm and SLiM and configured both as indicated on wiki pages. However, urxvt and xterm weren't dependencies of either, but are the respective terminals used by [Mod1]+[Shift]+[Return] in dwm and entering `console` in SLiM. And... that's how I would, theoretically, install either at this point.
So, opening a terminal in both fails, and trying to restart with Fallback, or exit re-opens SLiM. I used the inittab method to have SLiM start.
Is there a way out of this loop? And is it documentation failure or my personal failure that this kind of catch-22 is possible?

You can switch to TTY 1-6 and install whatever terminal emulator you would like...

In general, if you're unable to access a TTY and having a problem in X you can select to boot into runlevel 3 (which is multi-user environment without X11 in Arch Linux) by appending your desired runlevel to your boot line in Grub.

Just in case you don't know how to do this: Control-Alt-F2 (replace 2 with number of your choice between 1 and 6...)

Great, thanks all - got a terminal installed - had never realized that there was always that way out of an X11 environment!
