[Solved]DKMS install issues

I have recently started using arch over the last couple of days and have had practically no problems up until trying to install dkms to get my wireless card drivers operational.

I found the file on AUR, extracted it and attempted to compile it with makepkg. instead of compiling into an installable package it returned with:

I am left with a jumble of what appears to be an incomplete build of the package.
I have searched the web for info and have come up empty so if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

edit: found a workaround no longer need to install DKMS
