Hi
I do not know if it is just me - but those gdesklets are not working. I've tried to solve the problem myself - and even commented on bug tracker. Still nothing?
What am I missing? Does it work for anyone?

Erm not sure about gdesklets, but adesklets certainly works.
I think other people have had success running gdesklets on arch tho, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Sorry for the missing information in my last post.
I had gdesklets working - but after I updated to Gnome 2.10 they broke. So now I get strange errors when trying to run one.
And now I don't
Just tried to run one - and it worked ... but some days ago it didn't.
Allright don't mind me then - it works now.
 :? :? :? :?

anyway the gdesklet package is old, and they have been fixing bugs in the two point revisions they have released.

I suggest you use adesklets, it works great
Arch GNU/Linux 0.7.1 (Noodle)
Linux 2.6.14-archck1

I think someone should start an adesklets fan site or something that is slightly less strict about what gets published and what doesn't. Thanks to Google I've found quite a few desklets getting around for adesklets that haven't been anywhere near the sf.net page because it's just less hassle that way.
I don't have the time these days to put together a half-way decent web page but if someone does should do something about it. I'd gladly help where I could.

Wikiarise it?

If it helps any, an updated gdesklets 0.34.3-1 was released in Extra earlier today.

The new version of gdesklets won't run any old desklets. Trying to run PSI desklets invariably produces an error message.
