Re: 2011.05-2 archboot "2k11-R2" ISO hybrid image released

Same problem as *vitali*'s. ntfs-3g is also missing in the i686 local repo. I can't do a local install in a dual boot set up with windows, network only. If the disk has linux partitions only, the local repo install works, though.

I break things and put them back together for fun and sometimes profit, because it is the only way to learn.

Correct the setup script adds ntfs if partitions are available.
Next version will not suffer from this bug. Else you can edit the setup script not to add ntfs-3g.

Re: 2011.05-2 archboot "2k11-R2" ISO hybrid image released

Thanks tpowa. This time After replacing Acer One hard disk, used the latest Archiso to get Arch running. I used GPT partition and all went well. earlier also I mentioned about the following (just as a remainder)
1. Still package details are not available (now in official iso during package selection each package selection will give a brief details)
consider this as future request and definitely help the user.

2. changing host name for a second edit will show both the name in the hosts file (eg myarch myarch in the local host line)

I will try for the UEFI booting in hp g6 laptop later.

>skodabenz : in hp g6 I could not find any details in the BIOS about EFI. Is that fat32 PT is still required? I don't have any plan to keep other OS in parallel. Thanks

Im encountering same bug. How can I edit the setup script not to add ntfs-3g?

EDIT: Nevermind, found the section in /arch/setup due to your commenting smile
