[SOLVED] Kernel Panic when USB storage plugged

New to Arch, but not to Linux.  Never seen this type of thing before though. I am running Gnome3 on X86_64 on a Quad-core AMD Phenom 9950 with 4Gb.

I have tried both a USB-connected hard drive, and a USB stick, when plugging in both cause an instant KP (which I don't know how to read, or how to copy)

Re: [SOLVED] Kernel Panic when USB storage plugged

Sorry for the noise.  The answer is to install udisks.  Slightly surprised that the default is to panic mind.
