nVidia random speckle noise

This issue is rather weird, but it only happens sometimes, so it's not really a huge problem. It's annoying, though.
A screenshot would better explain what happens :

As you can see, there's a huge speckle noise on the screen... It usually happens after a few hours, and usually when I'm using the GPU for video decoding (VDPAU). Desktop is still fully responsive, and I can do everything I want, except I can't see with that crap on my screen. I'm guessing those symptoms would indicate a memory corruption of some sort in the nVidia driver, but I don't really know how to fix it...

Did someone here have the same issue once? Did it get solved? If so, how?
