[SOLVED] libreoffice driver class org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver not loaded

Hello,
in libreoffice I can't use Base. I've tried both creating new databases and opening old ones I had made with openoffice 3, but when I click on "Tables" I allways get this error:

The connection to the data source "New Database" could not be established.

The driver class 'org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver' could not be loaded. The additional driver class path is 'file:///usr/share/java/hsqldb.jar
vnd.sun.star.expand:
$OOO_BASE_DIR/program/classes/sdbc_hsqldb.jar'.

I trie installing both jre and openjdk6, same error.

I also tried installing mysql-jdbc from the AUR and following the instructions printed by the .install, but still same error.

any suggestions?

cheers
renato

Re: [SOLVED] libreoffice driver class org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver not loaded

you're probably missing the hsqldb-java pacakge, an optional dependency for libreoffice

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

(A works at time B)  && (time C > time B ) ≠  (A works at time C)

thank you, it was indeed that the problem. Don't know how I missed it, since first thing I did was searching hsql in the repos....
