nvidia 270.41.19-1 forced me to gnome3-fallback?

upon yesterday's upgrades, I can no longer start gnome3 in normal mode. I've seen the message 'failed to load gnome3, enabling fallback mode', and since then it's stick there.

I reinstalled the nvidia driver and tried to reboot too - fallback is still there (without no error messages though). Any chance to get out of this somehow?

never mind, it wasn't gnome3, it was my GLX gone. a complete reinstall of the nvidia drivers solved the problem.
