gnome terminal - strange wrapping issues

Hi all,

I am running gnome 3 on an nvidia powered laptop.  I believe I always had this issue with any Linux distribution.

When the window is small enough, it wraps correctly, once it gets really large (fullscreen, 1680x1050 for example), the text wraps at about half way and overwrites the line above ...

Is this an issue with my nvidia configuration, or more likely my gnome terminal?

Any ideas what I should try?

I don't know the answer, but gnome 3 works better with nouveau. Considerably! I had issues with flash with an nvidia dirver, animations were not smooth, etc. So give it a try.
