Gnome 3 Recent Documents

Hello!

Trying to find a way to remove the "Recent Documents" function from the Gnome 3 Shell. (When you use the search function of the shell it allso display recent files you have used)
My search for a solution aint going to good so, Anyone got any knowlege here?

rm ./.local/share/recently-used.xbel

Side Note:

rm ./.local/share/recently-used.xbel

Simply clears the recent documents it does not stop future files to appear in the recent documents section.
So to block the function altogether i simply blocked the creation of the recently-used.xbel by creating a directory instead with:

mkdir ./.local/share/recently-used.xbel
