I've just moved to arch linux from Kubuntu, and I'm getting used to the new environment. I never had a problem with flash in kubuntu, so I don't know whats going on with why arch isn't working out on this.
I am using 64bit arch, and kde desktop, and the only problem I've having is with getting flash to work. I have installed the flashplugin from the multilib repo, and after a reboot it would not run in either firefox or konqueror. It did at least seem to try running flash but failed in the end, so I installed the 32bit nvidia utils, as I have an nvidia graphics card, nothing new happened after a reboot. I then removed flashplugin and tryed gnash. With gnash it seemed to get further, instead of just a black blank where the video should be on youtube, I got an error message, and I had the controls at the bottom of the blank.
If there is more info needed to help, please tell me where to get and I will post it.
Thank you, in advance, for any help with this problem.

You could try the 64bit pre-release package from the AUR [1] take a look at [2] for build instructions if you've never used the AUR before.

Success!
Thank you for recommending that. I had my reservations about using the pre-release version as it wasn't listed as stable compared to installing the 32bit from the multilib repo, but it worked perfectly.
