I've upgraded to gnome 3 and I have a problem when scrolling. It seems that the screen isn't repainted properly which is really annoying. When I scroll the previous "screen" stays and it's not updated until I move the mouse over something e.g. a button or wait a little while. I can't grab a screenshot of the problem since repaint happens when the screenshot dialog pops up.
Using gnome 3, firefox 4.0.1 and nvidia driveres. Anybody else experienced this problem? or is it something with my setup?

I've got exactly the same problem. Firefox doesn't redraw (need to swap windows to get a redraw) and the whole UI performance is really bad.

Using gnome3 with FF5 and haven't noticed any problems. I do have an AMD GPU though...
Since two of you have the same problem and both have nvidia cards, perhaps it's something with the drivers?
