High CPU Temperature After Resume from Suspend

Hi all,

I have an Asus A42JC laptop with this specification:
Intel Core i3 M370 2.4 GHz
2GB DDR3
Nvidia 310M (Optimus)

Under normal usage, the CPU temperature will be in rage of 40C to 50C. But if I suspend my laptop and then resume it, the operational temperature range will rise to 50C to 55C.

I checked running processes with top but there's no significant CPU usage by any process.

Any clues?

PS. I check the CPU temperature with acpi -V, and physically my laptop is indeed warmer than before I suspend it.

Re: High CPU Temperature After Resume from Suspend

Update: if I run powertop after resume, the CPU temperature is significantly decreased, about 42~45 C. I don't know why but I can say it fixed my problem.
